I saw last night a post from the Doctor of Credit about another test drive for gift card deal going on right now. This one is a $25 gift card for test driving a Subaru Forester. Mine showed up as an Amazon gift card, though Doctor of Credit reports that it may also be possible for Visa or Best Buy gift cards.
How to get the deal
Go to www.subaru.com, put in your zip code and go to a dealer website near you. Choose New Inventory from the top left of the site and then New Inventory again. Put in that you’re interested in a Subaru Forester (some reports indicate other models will also work), and you should get a popup that looks like something this
You can select which type of reward card that you want, which I missed when I filled out the form, which is why I got Amazon :-). Click Get Your Code, and print out the form that pops out and take it to the dealer.
Generally speaking, you do not have to actually test drive the car. Usually the salesman will ask me if I’m actually interested in a new car, and when I say no, he just validates the card and I am on my way. He doesn’t want to waste his time with me just as much as I don’t want to waste my time with him 😀
You can read my past experiences about how it took me approximately 30 seconds to get a $25 gift card for “test driving” a Kia, or 7500 American AAdvantage miles.

This is the exact car my sister hoped to buy this weekend. I tried what you suggest but no $25 offer came up.
I got a pop up for a $20 Starbucks card. I like Starbucks when it is free, so I will probably venture over to the dealer. I was going to shop around for other dealers and check out their offers, but I was afraid my pop-up would disappear. Thanks for the link!
