I got an email today that Frontier is offering a sale with one-way routes as low as $20 one-way. These types of sales happen fairly regularly across different airlines. I know we joke about Frontier offering sales seemingly constantly, but a quick glance did appear that this sale was a bit more widespread than others I’ve seen.
It looks like there are several city pairs available for $20, including flights from Albuquerque, Austin, Denver, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Providence, Philadelphia, San Antonio, Seattle, Omaha, Milwaukee, New Orleans. There seems like there’s at least one destination at $20 from every city Frontier flies.
In addition – there are a variety of other city pairs with cheap flights. Here is a sampling from my hometown of Cincinnati (CVG)
Different routes have different rules, restrictions and available dates, so check your route for the fine print. As a reminder, Frontier is a low-cost airline, so be prepared to pay for food, bags, seats etc., though I have had pretty good luck with a simple strategy for how to get a good seat on Frontier for free – check it out if it helps
If you’re traveling Frontier with a family, check out these 6 tips for flying Frontier with a family but watch out for the huge problem flying Frontier. And if you get a schedule change, check to see if you might get a $50 or $100 voucher for a Frontier schedule change!

For years I faithfully went with Frontier through the tiers, Ascent, Summit, Elite when they had 85 flights a day in Milwaukee. Over the years during that time, status, they went to 1, an evening flight to Denver. They’ve now made an attempt to provide several more flights per day though I burned my miles best I could. Their frequent flyer program now has very few members and maybe they’re happy with the once a year leisure family who doesn’t know any better. I doubt there are any business travelers left on the airline. I switched to Southwest. Better service, more timely flights, locations I actually want to go to and after adding up things you save on them compared to nickel and dimeing for everything on Frontier the prices are clise. Besides, Southwest people are friendlier.
Yeah I have not been impressed with Frontier’s miles and points program at all. With cash fares so cheap, using miles is generally not super efficient
