SPG is at it again with their targeted offers for a number of program members. These seem to come around every few months, and lately I have not been targeted for *any* of them. Sigh.

Doctor of credit has reported a few different offers that members have received:
- First stay get 2,500 points, second stay get 5,000 points (limit of 7,500 points)
- First stay get 1,500 points, second stay get 2,500 points (limit of 4,000 points)
- Earn 4,000 bonus Starpoints® after second (2nd) eligible paid stay, 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the fourth (4th) eligible paid stay, and 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the sixth (6th) eligible paid stay
The fine print on this one says you need to sign up by September 30. All stays must be completed between August 1 and October 31.
Hopefully some of you can earn some bonus Starpoints on upcoming stays!

New to points, my offer is 2x stays and 2x nights count toward elite status. Start earning double credit toward elite-status qualification with every stay at any of our more than 1,300 SPG® hotels and resorts. (So does that mean I get 2x points for every dollar spent at hotel?
No, this is a bit different. I had this offer last year. It basically means that each night and stay is counted 2x, making it easier for you to reach elite status. Depending on your goals, that may be better or worse than 2x points.
