About Discovering Routes Season 1
Season 1 of Discovering Routes features Filipino-American siblings Garrett and Miristi Gee, returning to the Philippines. Neither sibling had ever been to the Philippines, the country where their mother is from. Discovering Routes season 1 will consist of 8 television episodes and 20 webisodes following the 2 Gees through the Philippines
Garrett Gee is a tech entrepreneur who, a few years ago, sold an app he developed to Snapchat for $54 million (must be nice!). Since then, he has traveled the world with his wife and two young children as The Bucket List family. Miristi Gee has traveled to 28 countries pursuing her love of dance, music and yoga. Given that they grew up with six siblings and Garrett attended BYU, I suspect I may have a few things in common with them!
How to watch Discovering Routes
Discovering Routes is hosted by networks Myx TV and Lifestyle Network. Discovering Routes will be aired on TV as well, but is currently being shown digitally first. The digital series premieres on Thursday September 7th, with new episodes on Mondays and Thursdays on DiscoveringRoutes.com. EDIT: Watch the 1st episode here.
Discovering Routes looks like an interesting show if you’re in to travel (which most readers of this blog probably are!) so check it out if you get a chance!

Sounds like it might be an interesting program! I’m pretty sure I’ve visited each of my motherlands but I wonder if a DNA test might prove otherwise. I’m not ready to open that door at the moment as I have some concerns about privacy but maybe I’ll jump off of the cliff some day.
One thing I wanted to point out as you’re public facing is that using phrases such as ‘must be nice’ is passive aggressive and sets a negative tone for your blog post. Maybe a ‘wow!’ or ‘impressive!’ if you really think it’s important to comment on the amount his company was sold for.
I like these type of shows too and will have to check them out. I have yet to go to Spain where my distant ancestors are from
