I wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that I have updated the IHG Point Breaks map page that I maintain with the latest list, which was just released. Remember, you can always bookmark that page and check in at

There are only 100 hotels (lower than usual but slightly more than last time) on the list.
The hotels should be bookable sometime Monday October 30th (usually around 12-1pm EDT). Remember, the good hotels go fast so book quickly.

Do you every find Points Break rooms for parties of 6? (Family with 4 kids) Or would I need to book two rooms?
Generally Point Breaks rooms like all award stays book into a “standard” room which usually sleeps only 4. I’ve had decent luck booking the room, and then calling the hotel beforehand to see if they’ll move me into a bigger room. See Staybridge Suites San Francisco Airport review
Usually a great resource thanks….. but this one seems much sloppier, less precise that past versions. (or what Drew at TIF used to spoil us with) For example, you’ve got the geography wildly off on the Maryland locations. Prince Frederick HIE is on the eastern shore — but your map puts it in western Maryland (in the city of Frederick). Not quite as bad, but a problem: you have the Staybridge BWI airport nowhere near the airport. (You have it downtown Baltimare, on the harbor – 25 miles from the airport) Pretty sure the Staybridge at Stafford, Va is “off” considerably too. (I’ve stayed there before — it’s closer to Stafford, and just off I-81) And then there’s the Princeton, NJ locations — there’s two of them this time. Your graphic only showing one. Noticing that this looks like you had somebody plugging in the generic city for each hotel name, rather than using spatial coordinates.
Thanks for the feedback. All of the previous Point Breaks maps just map to the city rather than the actual hotel address / location. I batch geocode them rather than manually looking up 100 hotel lat / lon coordinates. I’ve been traveling this weekend but will take a look at your feedback tomorrow. I had noticed the 2 Princeton locations – they’re both there but I assume since they have the same city that they got geocoded to the same place. I’ll adjust them Monday
The above mentioned locations have been updated. Many other hotels are geocoded to the city level rather than address / name, so they may be slightly off of their actual locations
I have never been able to find available awards nights. I’ve even tried picking random weekdays, and still no rewards nights availablility. Am I missing something?
Do you mean you don’t see award nights at all? Or just no 5000 points / night rooms? If the latter, they will become available around noon ET today (Monday)
