We’re always on the lookout for ways to earn more points, and thanks to Doctor of Credit, we now know that it’s possible to earn up to 46,000 Membership Rewards points and $100! Read on to see how!
The Platinum Card® from American Express
This is one of the two offers I was targeted for. This offer allows you to add an authorized user and receive 5,000 Membership Rewards points when they spend $500. You can take advantage of this offer four times, for a total of 4 authorized users and a maximum of 20,000 points. NOTE: these can be Platinum cards OR Gold cards. If you don’t need the additional benefits of the Platinum, the Gold cards are free, saving you hundreds!
Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express
This is other offer I was targeted for. This offer allows you to add an authorized user and receive 5,000 Membership Rewards points when they spend $500. You can take advantage of this offer four times, for a total of 4 authorized users and a maximum of 20,000 points. There are no annual fees for additional PRG cards.
Amex EveryDay® Credit Card
I have the Amex EveryDay® Credit Card, but was not targeted (or I don’t think I was) for this offer. This offer allows you to add an authorized user and receive 1,500 Membership Rewards points when they spend $150. You can take advantage of this offer four times, for a total of 4 authorized users and a maximum of 6,000 points. There are no annual fees for additional EveryDay cards.
Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express
I do not have this card, but again, according to Doctor of Credit, this card is one of the eligible cards. This offer allows you to add an authorized user and receive $25 when they spend $250. You can take advantage of this offer four times, for a total of 4 authorized users and a maximum of $100. There are no annual fees for additional Blue Cash Everyday cards.
Conclusion
As an FYI, I received this e-mail with the subject line “Samuel, share the world of Platinum – add Additional Card Members and you can earn up to 20,000 points.”
Hopefully you can take advantage of one of these offers!

To clarify,
I was targeted for the Platinum offer, so I can add 4 Gold Authorized users instead of 4 Platinum users and still get receive the 20k pts (assuming i don’t need the extra benefits)?
That’s correct!
Thanks for the confirmation!
And the annual fee is $175.00 for 20K MR points…
Depends which offer you take. Gold card AU cards are free (as are Every Day and Blue Cash AU cards)
How do I access the offer. Didn’t receive an email and it doesn’t show up on my online account management.
