Delta just launched its monthly Skymiles flash sales, this time between select U.S. 48 cities to Canada. You can read complete details here.
The sale
- Main Cabin for Alaska starting at 20,000 miles round trip (plus taxes and fees);
- Main Cabin for Hawaii starting at 35,000 miles round trip (plus taxes and fees);
- Sale valid for two days, until 11:59pm EST on September 14, 2017;
- Travel between January 8 through March 23, 2018;
- Must book on Delta.com directly;
- Destinations include the following the following cities in Hawaii and Alaska:
Alaska would be cold from January to March, but Hawaii would be very nice. As a reminder, you can always book Delta flights with low level availability to Hawaii using just 15,000 Flying Blue miles one way or 25,000 Korean miles round trip. Both Flying Blue and Korean Air are transfer partners of Chase Ultimate Rewards among other programs.

Availability varies
I decided to look up availability for a family of four between JFK and Honolulu using Delta’s low fare calendar. Availability is quite good for January but not so much for February and March.
Will you take advantage of this month’s Skymiles flash sale?
